Summer Programs

Volunteer teams of two are needed in the reading program for all three age groups:   Kindergarten–Grade 1, Grades 2–3; and Grades 4–5.

 

Donations are welcome also:

New or used books for children in the elementary grades

Or $20 for a new book of elementary grade level

Drinks or fruit for snacks will be appreciated.

Summer Reading Program

We help children improve their reading and writing; our purpose is to help them love books and extend their thinking in English.

Dates: June 2,4, 9, 11, 16, 18, 23, 25

For those participating in the reading program, we will have a Fun Saturday 4:00pm until 6:30pm at the Doraville City Pool

 

Kids Club for Teenagers

Games, financial management courses, Bible studies, speakers and other events. Normally we meet from 6:30pm until 9:00pm.

 

Vacation Bible School—June 29-July 3

The First Baptist Church of Decatur, Alabama will come to do a Vacation Bible School during this week.

 

Day Camp for Boys– July 13-July 17

We will have a Day Camp for Boys, we need volunteers to help with crafts, bring snacks, recreation and give Bible stories this week.

 

Girl Scout Day Camp for Girls– July 20-July 24

The Girls Scouts will hold a day camp this week.

 

Play Group for Mothers—Every Friday from 10am until noon.

For mothers and their small children.

 

Personal Tutors are needed to help students with English anytime during the Summer!
